Office for Institutional Equity & Inclusion

Support for Equity-Minded Planning

Many campus units – offices, student organizations, departments, and divisions – are using or want to develop specific plans to focus their diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) efforts, and the Office for Institutional Equity & Inclusion provides consultation and support.
Community Dialogue Facilitation Network

Community Facilitation Dialogue Network

The Office for Institutional Equity & Community hosts the Community Dialogue Facilitation Network (CDFN) to develop our campus’s collective capability to engage productively in difficult conversations.

White Anti-Racism

Our focus on white anti-racism is an institutional effort to relieve pressure often placed on people of color to educate white people about race, as well as to support and be in solidarity with change efforts led by people of color.

Institutional Coordinating Council

Supported by the Office for Institutional Equity & Inclusion, the ICC shapes and sharpens the institution’s focus on the systemic change needed for achieving a long-term vision: an anti-racist institution in which members of all groups that have been historically restrained, excluded, or oppressed are fully included.

Report a Bias Incident

Discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, religion, national or ethnic origin, age, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, gender expression, disability, status as a veteran or any classification protected by local, state or federal law is prohibited and will not be tolerated at the University of Richmond.
